SBXers Design the Heck Out of an eBook, Win GDUSA American Graphic Design Award

28 Oct SBXers Design the Heck Out of an eBook, Win GDUSA American Graphic Design Award

I’m excited to announce that two of our SpeakerBox teammates have been recognized for their awesome graphic design work in the 53rd Annual GDUSA American Graphic Design Awards in the category for Creative Use of Color. Brandan Lickey (Rookie) and Jonathan Katz (Veteran) teamed up for SBX client HighPoint Global to design an eBook titled “The Journey to CX Maturity.” You can check out their work here (the resource is on the right hand side of the page for download).

According to Lickey, “HighPoint had three main colors in their brand guidelines (the blue, yellow, and green in their logo). We had originally used the blue, green, and yellow from their brand guidelines, but later decided to add in new colors to compliment them.”

Additionally, the team noted that for the cover, they wanted something big and bold to really stand out and represent the “journey” to CX maturity. Which lead them to the graphic shown below:

The Annual GDUSA American Graphic Design Awards honor outstanding new work of all kinds: pring, packaging, p-o-p, internet, interactive and motion graphics. They receive thousands of entries from companies and individuals for work completed between January 1, 2015 and July 15, 2016. This was the first year for the Creative Use of Color category.

Congratulations to the HighPoint Global Team for their achievement!
