We are looking for candidates with the following credentials:

Account Supervisor (CURRENTLY HIRING)

  • 3-6 years experience in the technology communications industry
  • Prior agency experience a plus
  • Strong leadership skills, and ability to supervise others on a team (prior supervisory experience a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with social media, community building, inbound marketing
  • Possess excellent writing skills. Can tackle in-depth topics and write succinctly, efficiently, and with impact
  • Exhibit strong understanding of macro technology and business trends
  • Ability to run small to medium-sized accounts with strategic oversight
  • Serve as the functional lead on accounts including client relations
  • Provide coaching and direction to account teams, including performance management
  • Drive media relations efforts on accounts and master top placements
  • Make strategic recommendations to clients
  • Deliver value and results (metrics) on accounts and proactively address barriers to success
  • Produce monthly/quarterly reports and assist in the invoicing process and retainer management for accounts
  • Participate in leading internal training programs for staff and interns
  • Participate in the business development process (research, preparation and new business pitches)
  • Participate in larger company initiatives and projects, such as strategic planning
  • Bachelors degree preferred in the field of communications, public relations, journalism and/or marketing

Account Coordinator/Executive (CURRENTLY HIRING)

No day is ever the same. ACs/AEs work on multiple client accounts and learn directly from SpeakerBox’s more senior staff. From the start, ACs/AEs work closely with their clients on a daily basis and contribute to integrated communications programs in meaningful ways, including client relations, media and analyst relations, digital marketing, industry research, writing, content creation, and tracking and measuring account activities and results. Whether our team is helping an established company differentiate its story or launching an unknown startup, our work is customized to each client and always interesting.

 

Over the course of year one at SpeakerBox, an AC/AE can expect the following from the experience:

Digital Media Specialist

Successful candidates will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and how each can be deployed in different scenarios; heavy focus on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Experience managing the entirety of social media campaigns, from concept and strategy, to creating social content deliverables, and managing and evaluating the performance of each campaign
  • Ability to develop and deploy strategic approaches to create both visual and written content that effectively communicates messages and drives demand
  • Confident in numbers and analytic ability; able to translate anecdotal evidence into smart recommendations around social and digital campaigns. Know how to use digital media measurement & analytics tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, HubSpot, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Integrate social media and content marketing into business strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Conduct in-depth social media audits and provide recommendations to inform overall strategy
  • Create thorough KPI metrics reports to evaluate performance of social media channels, analyze results to inform future tactics and strategy
  • Create and run social media advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc. and have an understanding of A/B testing, optimizing content and knowing how to use each platform’s campaign managers
  • Understand advertising budgets and what kind of budget to recommend to clients based on their needs and target audience
  • Working knowledge of SEO and how social plays a role
  • Google Analytics & AdWords certified – or ability to manage and engage with these platforms
  • Design background a plus

Requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, liberal arts, marketing or a related field of study
