Senior Director
As Senior Director with SpeakerBox, Piper Conrad provides strategic direction and day-to-day communications support for the agency’s clients. Piper works with her clients to define and advance a consistent brand message through the full range of marketing tools including PR, sales collateral, advertising, events, employee communications, and social media. She is also involved in driving SpeakerBox’s own marketing and branding initiatives.
Prior to joining SpeakerBox, Piper served as the Manager of Marketing Communications for Apogen, a $250 million government IT contractor. For Apogen, Piper drove the strategy and execution of the Company’s internal and external communication including media relations, advertising, marketing material, and employee communications vehicles.
Piper has designed and supported the PR and marketing campaigns of a number of government and technology clients including VeriSign, Check Point Software, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, SIGNAL Corporation (now part of General Dynamics), and Software AG. Piper also brings a depth of experience in managing the internal and external communications around Merger & Acquisition activity.
Piper is active in Women in Technology (WIT) serving on the board of directors and chairing the membership committee. In 2006, she was awarded the WIT Chair of the Year honor for her work on the Awards program and event.
