Pheniece Jones and Kathryn Kaplan the Newest Additions for Technology PR Firm
MCLEAN, Va. — September 15, 2010 — SpeakerBox Communications, a leading technology public relations firm, announced today it has brought on Pheniece Jones as senior media specialist and Kathryn Kaplan as account coordinator.
In her new role, Pheniece will be responsible for creating and driving media relations strategy, as well as providing writing and social media counsel across SpeakerBox accounts. Pheniece has more than six years of experience in corporate, brand and government public relations, with an emphasis on strategic media relations. In her previous role at Ketchum in Washington, D.C., she developed media strategies and campaigns for consumer technology and government clients. Pheniece currently serves on the 2010-2011 Social Media Club-DC Chapter’s Marketing and Digital Content Committee. She earned a B.A. in English and Sociology from the College of William and Mary.
Kathryn will be supporting various SpeakerBox accounts and contributing research for clients’ media, speaking and awards PR programs. Prior to joining SpeakerBox, she worked at Fishman Public Relations in Chicago providing media outreach for franchise concepts. She graduated from the University of Maryland in 2008 with a B.A. in Communication.
