Elizabeth Shea Wins Brava! Women’s Business Achievement Award
MCLEAN, Va. – June 23, 2009 – SpeakerBox Communications, a leading technology PR and communications firm, announced today that President and CEO Elizabeth Shea has won recognition as a Brava! Women Business Achievement Award recipient. This annual award celebrates 25 female CEOs who are making unprecedented strides in business and who are building a stronger community financially, philanthropically and through leadership.
Through various acts of philanthropic work, Shea instills a spirit of networking and community building by requiring employees to become involved in an area of passion. Shea is currently a board member of SECAF – the preeminent organization for small and emerging government contractors. She also serves on the advisory council of George Mason University’s Communications Department, and actively supports Women in Technology, as well as TiE DC, in an advisory role.

SpeakerBox is able to grow its client base, while maintaining long-term dedication. Today, the company’s roster includes a variety of technology firms such as Cernium, Apptis, Red Hat, ScienceLogic, Plateau Systems, Apptix and more.
